Farsighted Cooperation
Visionary thinking, long-lasting market know-how and actual information increase the awareness of promising future options. Just from the beginning, Rolf Leutert considered Wireshark to be an auspicious tool prompting him to contact Gerald Combs, founder of the Open Source software personally. From this evolved a close cooperation with CACE Technologies being the supporting organization of the Open Source tool Wireshark up to 2010, when Riverbed Technology acquired the products of CACE and the sponsorship of Wireshark.
